Before Microsoft, I was Avanade North America Chief Operating Officer, responsible for executing the North America business strategy including sales, organizational strategy, operational excellence and core business functions. Before COO North America, I was Chief Growth Officer for Avanade’s Growth Markets region (Australia, Japan, China, ASEAN, Brazil & S. Africa). In that role, responsible for implementation of growth strategies, leading a cross-functional team comprising sales, marketing, M&A working with Accenture & Microsoft. Previously, I was Managing Director of Avanade Australia for six years. During tenure, business in Australia increased four-fold and became one of the top three markets for Avanade globally. Prior to joining Avanade, I was Managing Director of AT&T Australia and NZ for four years, having previously held a series of senior executive roles with AT&T and IBM in Europe, Asia, and Australia. I am a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the world’s premier peer network of chief executives. A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and past Director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), the peak information technology industry body in Australia. I am active in the not-for-profit sector and director on the Board of Northcott Disability Services. I completed a Bachelor of Engineering(First Class Honors) and Master of Engineering Science from University of NSW. I then completed a Master of Business Administration and attended the Harvard Business School YPO President’s Program in 2013 & 2014.
