I graduated from Pace Univeristy-Pleasantville in August 2018 after completing a MS in Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Applied Psychology and Human Relations. I currently hold two counseling positions. I am a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (August 2020) and a National Certified Counselor (February 2020). During my time in this field, I have worked with the adolescent population and victims of domestic violence. My work has taken place in diverse settings, including private practice, outpatient, and residential treatment facilities. I’ve also gained substantial experience working with patients who have neurocognitive diagnoses and co-morbidities with RevCore Recovery Center at the Terence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare Center in East Harlem. I believe the key to effective treatment is a holistic person-centered approach. Over the years, I’ve obtained extensive knowledge on substance use treatment modalities, medication assisted treatment, and the impact that untreated SUD/SMI can have on communities. In practice, I emphasize transparency, empathy, flexibility, patience, and thoroughly-coordinated care. I have facilitated treatment regarding patient's mental wellness through group therapy, individual counseling, medication assisted therapy, and coordinating care with patient's comprehensive treatment team. Additionally, I work as a contracted therapist with BetterHelp. I specialize in helping clients with a wide array of mental health related issues. I work remotely, providing clients with video, phone and live chat options for therapy. Working with various populations has been very fulfilling and I find joy in providing compassion and consistency to my patient’s lives.
