He was also seconded as in-house counsel to the mobile operator Tele2 from 2012 – 2015. His fields of expertise include sector specific market regulation (mobile, broadband, transmission and IoT), sanctions regimes concerning Russia, security regulation (Security Act, NIS2 etc.), technology and Artificial Intelligence. In addition to providing strategic and legal advice concerning inter alia operational compliance, management of regulatory risk, cases involving public regulatory authorities, disputes and negotiations. He also regularly assists clients with dispute resolution and cases involving regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Data Protection Authority, the National Security Authority, the Norwegian Communications Authority and the ESA (Efta Surveillance Authority). Jens is a guest lecturer and tutor at the faculty of law the University of Oslo and at the University of Agder and regularly give presentations on compliance related issues at conferences, workshops, and industry events.
