After my studies in computer science, I developed leadership in different aspects of Cyber security. Taking the next step and inspired by the energy transformation, and the impact of IT to business I drove change in the different parts of the energy value chain as Head of Architect and IT strategy - from Nuclear to Wind production, from Transmission to Distribution, from Markets and Sale. Since 2015 I lead IT and the digital strategy of Vattenfall in the role as CIO and Head of IT. Climate change is one of the biggest challenges of our times. Vattenfall takes responsibility with our ambition to become “fossil free within one generation”. I am convinced that automation, utilization of data, and technology is an important corner stone to solve this challenge. To bring this to life, it is for me all about strong team play and people with talent, dedication, and passion. Vattenfall IT is a multinational, diversified and multi-disciplinary team who truly serve society and contribute to the greater good.
