She covered everything from hard news and investigative reporting to education, health, food, travel, entertainment politics, parenting and art. Jenny won a 2017 Maggie Award for Best Interview/Profile for her Emmy magazine feature on Lee Daniels. Her 2013 Emmy magazine profile of Gordon Ramsay won Best Profile at the min Editorial & Design Awards, while her 2008 investigative piece, "Rubbed the Wrong Way," uncovered an epidemic of sex abuse in spas for Day Spa magazine and won a Western Publications Association's Maggie Award. She spent 10 summers teaching at the Medill Cherubs journalism program at Northwestern University, and a year teaching journalism at Harvard-Westlake. She served on the editorial advisory board of Northwestern magazine. On-air experience includes co-hosting the E! pilot "Target Practice," as well as appearing as a guest commentator on PRI's "Fair Game." She been interviewed on "60 Minutes," "All Things Considered," Black News Channel, KNX, and local TV, radio and newspaper outlets. Jenny also served on the Board of Directors of the ACLU-SC and created a yoga program at the Upward Bound House, a transitional shelter for unhoused families. She serves on the Westside Community Planning Advisory Group for L.A. City Planning.
