Jenna Conan is a I am the Director of Instructional Technology at All Saints’ Episcopal School, a distinguished private school in Fort Worth, Texas. I have my Ph.D. in Learning Technologies, master's degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology, and bachelor's degree in Education. I have had the privilege to contribute many scholarly articles and insights to the field of learning technologies, being published in six industry journals and books. Additionally, I regularly participate in and present at education conferences, sharing knowledge and keeping abreast of evolving innovations in education and technology. In my current role, I spearhead the Instructional Technology team at All Saints’ Episcopal School. My leadership encompasses overseeing teacher training and professional development related to technology, heading up the STEAM and Innovation department, managing comprehensive digital learning programs and curricula, and overseeing the administration of student and teacher devices. I have innovatively developed and implemented the school’s digital citizenship and computer science curriculum. I have been instrumental in initiating and enhancing various technology programs at our school, including those focusing on Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR). A significant milestone in my career was leading the transition of our school to a remote learning model in 2020. My foundational experience as a classroom teacher for grades 3 through 5 in a Title I school has been pivotal in shaping my approach and contributions to instructional technology. I am passionate about leveraging technology to promote effective classroom methodologies, making classrooms more engaging and student-centered. My aim is to enable teachers to create enriching learning experiences and utilize proven pedagogical best practices in their respective educational environments. I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of education, ensuring it is both dynamic and relevant in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape. My vision also encompasses enhancing the preparation of aspiring and new educators, empowering them with the requisite skills and knowledge to thrive in contemporary educational landscapes.
