At the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, I have served on the: (a) Executive Committee (Board of Directors) (2017-2020); (b) Committee on the Judiciary (2011-14, 2015, 2016-2017, and 2020-present), where I am serving as Vice Chair and have headed subcommittees investigating the applications of over 65 judicial candidates; (c) Committee on Minorities in the Courts (2015-2016); (d) Committee on Diversity in the Judiciary (2015-2016); and (e) Committee on the State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction (2007-2011). I also actively participated in the City Bar's Thurgood Marshall Summer Law Intern Program for New York City public high school students and other programs sponsored by the City Bar's Diversity & Pipeline Initiatives Committee (2012-14). University of Iowa (B.A., Cum Laude, 1983) and Pace University Law School (J.D., 1986). Member and Case Notes Editor, PACE LAW REVIEW (1984-86). I have published over 65 articles and book reviews in the NEW YORK LAW JOURNAL, LAW 360, JOURNAL OF INSURANCE COVERAGE, TORT & INSURANCE LAW JOURNAL, ST.
