I have been an operator, supervisor and now a manager. The majority of my experience has been in live sports, I have worked in news more recently. I have had the opportunity to work on large events like the Super Bowl, The Olympics (Winter/Summer), Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and the Today show. I currently work for Colorado Public Radio as their Technical Operations Center Manager. We monitor our four services, CPR News (KCFR), Classical (KVOD), Indie 102.3 (KVOQ) and KRCC (Co Springs News) and adjust the programming/live hits as needed. We are also responsible for taking in special programming in the event of breaking news and for recovery of the station in the event of equipment or network issues. I look forward to networking with people in the broadcast industry and public media. We currently use Zetta as our automation system and would love to hear from others about tips and tricks of the system.
