Member of the Building Enclosure Council (BEC) - Program Director Chicago Chapter, Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) - Technical Roundtable Committee Member Chicago Chapter, The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, and Building Envelope Professionals (RCI), Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) Terminations and Flashings Committee Member. The career began as a Structural Engineer for 3M performing structural design & investigations. In 1999 ventured into consulting performing forensic investigations related to moisture intrusion and structural related problems, structural design, building condition assessments, development of repair / rehabilitation designs, and construction observations. Project work was primarily related to the building enclosure including various facades, roofing, and/or waterproofing systems. Most recently worked for Building Technology Consultants prior to Sto and now my current role with the International Masonry Institute (IMI).
