I started with Ascend Wellness 2.5 years ago as a part-time delivery driver. After about three months, we launched recreational use followed by the wholesale market, which led to my promotion to transport manager. This role allowed me to also delve into materials management, and I was subsequently promoted to senior materials manager. After nine months in that role, I applied for the general manager position when it became vacant. Although I didn't get the role, I was given the opportunity to head up operations and demonstrate my skills and abilities. In January this year, I was promoted to Director of Operations and have been serving as our site manager since. My current focus has been on deepening my knowledge of the cultivation and curing of cannabis as well as leveraging technology to improve our processes. I am excited to share my experiences with others and look forward to opportunities to collaborate and achieve great things.
