Jean Bausset Email & Phone Number | I am currently working for Bioeconomy For Change (B4C, ex-IAR) as Bioeconomy manager specialized in Bio-based materials. - I animate the B4C network about bio-based materials (plant-based fibers and bio-based polymers) for their implementation in markets like building, packaging, furniture, sports and lesures, textile, transportation, etc.. - I assist stakeholders (companies, academics, public authorities) for the setting-up of R&I projects by challenging their proposals (benchmarking, critical rereading) and for the dissemination of results. - With the Innovation and Event teams, we organize events and workshops to give an overview about a topic (for example end-of-life, packaging, processing of natural fibers) and to help stakeholders to find the right partner. - I took part in 2 international partnership missions (10-20 people) in Canada and Bangladesh/India to meet local stakeholders involved in natural fibres. A really rewarding position to better understand bioeconomy, their associated supply-chain and dynamics ! I was involved in the European project SSUCHY, dedicated to bio-based composites, with the Dissemination and communication work-packages. I developed and managed Agrobiobase, the website showcase of bio-based products, and XploreBIO, a matchmaking tool dedicated to bioeconomy. I joined B4C (ex-IAR) in 2010 and held several positions in the organisation. I hold a Master degree in materials chemistry.
