Prepared and evaluated Ir-Re catalysts for aqueous phase hydrogenation of succinic acid. One publication generated.Assisted with design of geothermal-assisted HVAC systems for cricket breeding.Rational catalyst design and evaluation for (1) dry reforming of methane, (2) hydrogenation of succinic acid, and (3) epoxidation of ethylene. Extensive experience with design and construction of high temperature and pressure flow reactors with fully automated analytical systems. Operated bank of 4 automated, parallel reactors for long term catalyst testing at industrial conditions for potential commercialization. Experience with designing and implementing reaction studies for both gas phase packed bed processes and liquid phase batch processes.Compared utilization of different Pt precursor salts for synthesis of supported catalysts using strong electrostatic adsorption (SEA) methods.Assisted with specifications and purchase of mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) unit operation, participated in team meetings with international clients and vendors, performed heat/mass balances and HVAC calculations. Created, reviewed, and corrected P&ID's and PFD's, specified and obtained quotes for tanks and pumps, and developed VBA programs for sizing process equipment.
