Jaymalya Palit is a Jaymalya Palit (Palit) has over 28 years’ experience in various aspects of software product management & strategy, solution architecting and consulting to the FSI industry, in large companies like Infosys Technologies Ltd and niche startups. In his first stint at Infosys spanning a decade and a half (1995-2010), Palit worked in various areas of Finacle Universal Banking Solution. During this period at Infosys, he was heading the Product Strategy of Finacle Universal Banking Solution, a suite of banking products that has been rated as leaders by top industry analysts like Gartner and Forrester. He has been a part of the leadership team at Finacle which was responsible for making this a flagship product for Infosys, taking Finacle from a single product to a suite of fifteen, from four clients in India to over 150 clients across 60 countries, from a revenue below a million dollars to over a few hundred million. Again from June 2011 till May 2014, Palit was with Infosys and Finacle where he was heading the product management and delivery of Finacle Enterprise, 11E which was launched at SIBOS - 2013. Palit was leading the Product Strategy of EdgeVerve, an Infosys product subsidiary between Jul 2015 and Jan 2018 For the last 5.5 years he has been with startups as Senior Vice President - first at Active.AI where he used to look after Products and Partnerships and then at Innoviti and Uptiq where he used to look after Product Management and Design. Currently he is consulting with multiple fintec and other product companies on their strategies, innovations and growth across geographies and segments. Palit brings a very deep experience and expertise in all aspects of technology product management, strategy and development. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), one of the top engineering schools in India.
