Prior to moving to the UK I held a regional leadership role for 8 years as the Asia Pacific Regional Head of Tax for the global leader in generic pharma, Hospira Inc. Pfizer Inc acquired Hospira Inc in late September 2015 where I continued on for another 12 months supporting the successful transition of the regional and group tax functions into the Pfizer Group. Within the Tax space I have successfully worked with fantastic colleagues to deliver the acquisition/establishment of a number of commercial businesses in China, Korea, Singapore and Japan. I have also worked closely with Finance and C level Executives around the globe to resolve numerous external audits/tax reviews across the Asia region and Middle East. I have also played leading roles in regional strategic growth initiatives including setting up a Manufacturing and Distribution JV in China, establishment of new Distribution entities within Korea, China, Hong Kong and relocation of Asia HQ to Shanghai. International experience outside of Australia and UK includes short stints working in Chicago, Hong Kong, Osaka, Manilla, Shenzhen, Singapore and Seoul.
