Jarrett is a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in Theatre and an emphasis in the technical area. While he got his start in Lighting Design (Medea, The Girl in the Cube) and was a Master Electrician (The 39 Steps, Chicago, Hair, Annie, Side by Side by Sondheim), he has also worked as a Stage Manager(Dog Sees God, Boom), Sound Designer (Talley’s Folly), and Scenic Designer (Bright Ideas). With this degree, he learned how to collaborate with teams to best produce live shows, design lighting, and stages for shows, create ground plans and lighting grids, common theater maintenance, and specialized lighting repair and maintenance practices. Other skills include sound and light board operation, carpentry, basic stitching, some fabric modification, floral arranging, stage make-up, and theatre photography.
