  Jamie Brown is a After completing my AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting in October 2016 I applied for a Practice License and setup my own Company Amberdene Accountancy Limited. My experience in Accountancy started when I was helping with the finances of my local Cub Scouts when I was aged 16. Over the years I became more involved in the Finances of the Group and became Treasurer for the Scout Section. In October 2013 I started working for South Yorkshire Scouts as their Bookkeeper. This role involved all things Financial up to trial balance, a role which I very much enjoy. I have been involved in helping the Scout Activity Centre improve its finances through careful monitoring of invoices received and reviewing expenses and negotiating contracts. I have 16 years of experience working in the Hotel Industry where I started aged 15. My Hotel work started from my School Work Experience and progressed into weekend work and then a Full Time contract when I left college. I have worked in all departments of a Hotel and spent a period of time as the Hotel Licensee. I spent a number of years working as a Food & Beverage Supervisor and spent many shifts working as the Duty Manager. My favourite part of working in the Hotel was providing Induction Training to new employees and ongoing training and mentoring to existing employees. I am a keen participant in Outdoor Activities such as Canoeing, Climbing and Archery. I hold a number of Coaching Qualifications in Outdoor Pursuits including being a Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Assessor. My Outdoor Activity Qualifications provided me with the opportunity to live and work abroad.
