James Shriver is a Faced with a life changing illness I did what I always do: adapt. Unable to hold a job in the field I had once loved, I found a sense of purpose in writing a memoir about a particular summer my brother and I ran away from home (Boys, Bicycles & Bruises). As I found so much enjoyment in every aspect of writing I began to expand to other areas and tried my hand at blogging, this turned into a sort of video/blog Facebook posting endeavor where I amass new followers almost every day. Being able to turn a good imagination into a viable business proposition has been the challenge, but I am the guy with the vision as well as the mind for it. While I am just at the beginning stages of my new endeavor in life my resume will reflect my ambitious attitude towards success. I have found success before where others had failed, and I will do that once again only in a different setting. All of my endeavors I have been a part of thus far have brought me to this point, where the skills I have gained all come together for one good purpose. The sky is the limit as I find a renewed spirit of giving back in my writing. Above all else, my one main goal is to entertain. I feel I can give back by helping people escape for a while. Whether you read my books, listen to audio or see them made into a movie I want you to find enjoyment in the stories and characters they are about. Most of my writing is fiction based on real events giving them a sense of familiarity with the reader, reaching out to them and taking them along for the ride as they recall memories of there own “days gone by”.
