James Klock Email & Phone Number | I am a lover of all things digital and built of code and pixels. I grew up in the midwest, surrounded by cornfields, trucks, tractors, and state fairs. Since I was a child, I was fascinated by the internet, websites, games, and programs and wanted to learn more about them and how they are made. These digital goods improved my life and inspired me to make my own digital creations. I went to coding classes throughout my childhood, learned the fundamentals of programming, made websites, programmed simple robots, apps, and games, but I still wanted to learn and make more. I then went to Bradley University and earned my degree with honors in Interactive Media with a minor in Computer Science. I learned about intuitive design, UI/UX, object-oriented programming, user research, web design, application development, and more. After I got my first job at a startup company, Cybernetic Entertainment, as a Software Developer making Luminant Music, a music visualizer application, I wanted to learn more about web and app development technologies. To further my education and curiosity, I decided to join Coding Dojo's Bootcamp. I learned 3 full stacks within 4 months (MEAN, Ruby, Python) and built many projects using different technologies. Since then, I have worked as a Software Engineer for Microsoft and Wells Fargo, always learning and improving my developer skills.
