Worked alongside volunteers in a number of areas including front of house, behind the scenes duties, tours and conservation work. I have given inductions, training and support in all these areas and overseen them in their various roles. Trained and experienced with working with a number of hazardous materials and products including mercury mirrors, historic batteries and fire extinguishers. I also have experience handling extreme mould outbreaks and minor chemical spills of mercury and acid. Competent and confident working at heights and off scaffold. PASMA trained in AGR scaffold construction Supported in 3 Emergency salvage exercises. Working with the fire service, volunteers and other staff members to make sure we are as prepared as possible in the event of disaster. Planned and delivered activities to promote the essential work that we do to look after our special places and to further our visitors’ engagement and enjoyment. Produced content for social media including videos, photos, and articles for local and regional channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) discussing and promoting the conservation message and encouraging people to visit. I have also organised and made appearances on local tv and radio to promote the conservation message and further raise our profile.
