As a natural progression of implementing tools like CTMS, Jakob has grown into designing and developing reporting solutions, leading to a function in Business Analytics for PPD. With his current position as Executive Director of Enterprise Analytics, in PPD’s Enterprise Data group, Jakob is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, validation, and training phases for enterprise analytics solutions, like dashboards, portals and mobile reporting applications. Jakob’s knowledge of the pre-clinical and clinical phases of clinical trials, as well his previous involvement in the design and implementation of Clinical Systems, like CTMS, eTMF and e-ICF, allows him to fully understand the internal IT needs of life sciences organizations like PPD, a Thermo Fisher Scientific company.
