In 2002, I began to provide computational support for projects throughout the CVMED department by developing Pipeline Pilot protocols to automate data extraction and report building for drug discovery teams to analyze data. I then joined the Computational Sciences Center of Emphasis in 2008, focusing on designing and deploying globally-available solutions and applications to leverage both Pfizer’s corporate screening databases and externally available databases, mine patent data, and mine the vast amount of synthetic library information at Pfizer. I have also focused my time on creating processes to automate workflows including the development of a data alerter platform in support of the Research Units and Worldwide Medicinal Chemistry.
