Working virtually with the Asia office which is to lead a team of over 220 people to continue AECOM’s growth aspiration across all elements of engineering and specialisms in Mainland China and Asia region and P&L responsibility. My role was to develop strategy for growth and integrate company initiatives, such as ESG. - Sector Lead for Healthcare in ANZ and part of the Asia Healthcare and Building Engineering group for AECOM with P&L and team responsibility. I led the healthcare approach in the ANZ region across all aspects of our business, which includes design, Asset Management, Cost Management and Project Management. I was also Project Director/lead on major/critical projects in excess of 1B. Focused was client management, winning high quality work and providing strategy to the business as well as people management, excellence and innovation in the health sector. This includes collaboration with global members of AECOM and partners and providing high level advice globally for AECOM and bringing this experience to APAC and ANZ for selected projects. Also, in my role I look at embracing digital and technology to provide more effective solutions in the built environment. I have over 25 years’ experience, 13 and half at AECOM and been involved in and developed a number of business cases, master plans, concept to detailed designs and project management of many varied projects including PPPs for buildings and precincts. This also covers other areas in healthcare such as digital, automation and logistics. My considerable experience covers healthcare and research/laboratory, cultural, commercial, smart city, precinct, data center engineering, central plant and infrastructure projects. The experience includes work in Australia, UK, Asia and Middle East regions.
