I currently hold the position of General Director at Aspire Academy, serve on the board of the Spanish Football Association and act as custodian (as President and co-owner) of AD Alcorcon, a LaLiga Hypermotion club. For the past six years, I served as the Technical Director of the Qatar Football Association, where I was asked to play a pivotal role in guiding the growth of Qatar’s football achieving significant milestones, including winning a historic 2019 Asian Cup title with the senior team, qualifying several times for the U20 World Cup and breaking for the first time ever into the top-50 FIFA world ranking. Beyond the field of play, I served as the Director of Strategy at Real Madrid CF, where I was responsible for shaping the club's sports and business strategies. During that time, we achieved remarkable growth in revenue while rebuilding sporting success on the pitch, solidifying Real Madrid's position as a global football powerhouse. As a board member of Leeds United FC, I had the opportunity to be part of one of the most iconic clubs in world football where I contributed to building the team responsible for promoting to the Premier League. In the recent past, I co-founded and managed a world-class investor group that built a multi-club ownership organization acquiring and operating football clubs in some of Europe’s best leagues (Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands). I hold an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, USA, a place where you learn to be ever curious, and grounded and that there is always someone much smarter than you in the room. I love pushing the boundaries of sports and look forward to continued contributions in a field that brings out human emotion, a sense of belonging and togetherness like no other.
