I sold IGB Associates, Inc. and married my true love, Martin! Martin’s highly successful company (importing and distributing high end orthopedic and sports medicine products) led me to find my next professional path to help people, the majority of whom are seniors. We collaborated and invented our own product after five years of nonstop R&D. Enter, ComfiHips, a multi-patented product that protects the hips of those at high risk of falling. Launched in 2009, ComfiHips is on a mission. According to the CDC, “1 out of 5 people who fall and break their hip will die within the first year” and “1 out of 3 people over the age of 65 will fall every year.” Clinical data indicates that these statistics can be dramatically lowered simply by wearing our hip protector, and ComfiHips is doing it – reducing hip fractures throughout Canada, the UK, and the United States. George Bernard Shaw said, “We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” I truly believe this and have made it my life’s purpose to help our loved ones keep playing!
