As part of my role within an in-house team, I specialise in predominantly dealing with the coordination, application and review of Domestic Violence Protection Orders (DVPN/O) and breach of such orders regionally across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. The nature of this position requires the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, dealing with confidentiality under relevant Data Protection legislation and prioritising tasks in order to enable a positive and reassuring duty of care to the victims of Domestic Abuse/Violence on behalf of the prosecuting Police Force. I also currently hold the position General Secretary of the National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP), in addition to the role of the Chair of the Association of Muslim Police (AMP) within Derbyshire Constabulary. My role is to encourage and showcase the positive difference Muslim officers and staff make within Policing in Derbyshire. We are one. We are together. Together we can make a change!
