I am a prior president and chairman with the Georgia chapter International Association for Identification (IAI). I teach forensic classes at fire investigator and forensic conferences in gathering forensic evidence from fire scenes and how to properly process the crime scene. I am a recent guest instructor at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) for the Fire Investigator 1 and 2 class and the 40-hour Crime Scene Investigation class and Georgia State Trooper class, teaching basic fingerprint development techniques. I have demonstrated the use of liquid latex at fire scenes to obtain AFIS quality latent prints and blood spatter under soot covered surfaces.
