He has also held the position of Director of HSSEQ and Assurance for Swancor Renewable Energy, a Taiwanese operator and developer of offshore windfarms in Taiwan and prior to that he held the position of VP HSESQ for an EPC / Heavy Engineering and Fabrication organisation listed in London and headquartered in Dubai where, over a 15 month period, he led the organisation to its best safety performance in 40 years of operation. Iain was a member of the Executive Committee and reported directly to the CEO, with responsibilities to present to the Lamprell Plc Board Committees as required Previously, Iain held responsibility for Global and Regional strategic direction and implementation in publicly listed, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organisations with up to +/- 50,000 employees, delivering both onshore and offshore construction projects across multiple high hazard environments He served as a member of the Corporate Global HSSE Leadership Team, held various Regional Leadership roles such as Vice President HSSE for downstream Oil and Gas Europe, Middle East and Africa, HSSE Director for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Southern Europe and India and HSSE Director for Middle East and Africa. He also held the position of Vice President Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for an International Chinese Offshore Drilling Contractor, and was based in Singapore where he was an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting directly to the CEO / President.
