Holly Power is a Hi! My name is Holly Power. I am a self-starter who has common sense and a dedicated passion for excellence. I believe that my degree doesn't define who I am or what I am good at. I set very high personal goals for myself and ensure that I am always operating in the heart of what is best for everyone, out of due diligence. I have been a Type-1 Diabetic since age 12, which has led me to my passionate interest in Nutrition. I ended up changing my career focus in order to align with my ultimate professional goals. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree of Business Administration from Aurora University in 2016. I have always had a very high GPA throughout my school years, graduating cum laude from AU and also earning the Academic Excellence Award from NIU. My education led me to my role as an Accounts Receivable Analyst, working directly under the Accounting Manager for Microtek. I gained strength in business to business operations and Accounting in that role. From there, I accepted a full time position as a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist for Commercial Credit Group in 2016. It was a very difficult decision to leave that senior role after two years, however it wasn't quite the right fit for me at the time. I was looking to work on a higher volume of loans and was not looking to advance within the organization. I am currently a Closing Coordinator for Guaranteed Rate Affinity, LLC and I was the highest producing Closing Coordinator in 2021 for the company with no prior mortgage experience.
