Hisham Abdulbari Email & Phone Number | Main Duties and Responsibilities: •Supply Chain Reporting including Quarter Chemical Spend Analysis, and Cost Savings Reports Analysis. •Freight Indices and cost analysis in different parameters. •Cost analysis and preparation of cost indices report per region, country and product. •Preparing Supplycain dashboard on a monthly basis highlighting the monthly spend of the Regions (MEA, Europe, Africa, Latin America, North America and Russia), cost savings, slow moving inventory, logistics highlights and other KPI’s (Key performance Indicators). •Monitoring the Sales Markup report for negative markup and communicate to the respective countries for the need to update sales prices assigned for the related country. •Conducting chemical price reviews on annually basis for locations in Middle East, Far East, Europe and Africa for audit purposes. •Manage/Control chemical prices list and ensure the revised price lists are updated on timely basis in relevant systems •Inventory slow moving provision reports, highlighting the provision per country per product and calculating the disposal cost. •Vendor price change analysis and the impact of the price change on the YTD cost of goods sold •Vendor payment issues analysis •Ad hoc analysis Projects: •Preparing the implementation report of a new Online Cost Saving Web Tool from business perspective. •Acting as a System Administrator to the web tool to construct all the procedures effectively in order to have efficient internal controls. Some of these procedures are designing the process of delegating new access rights to users, list all the attributes needed for the users for entering their inputs in the web tool and list all the fields needed for search/filter queries needed for viewing a report for my analytical procedures.•Provide financial analysis and budgetary control •Carry out ongoing monitoring of business financials performance indicators •Provide support and guidance in decision making driving the financial performance within business areas •Provides analysis and justifications on competitors and market trends •Conduct quarter review and evaluation for cost reduction opportunities •Liaising with auditors to ensure accurate monitoring is carried out. •Producing quarterly financial reports and key performance indicators •Monitoring the financial regulations and legislation and ensure compliance •Reviewing the annual financial statement and prepare the balance sheet notes accordingly. •Propose and implement improvements in accounting and reporting systems and ensure effective internal controls. •Review the account receivables aging report and ensure that customers are paying as per the agreed credit terms.Assurance and Advisory Business Services Department (Auditing) Performed a range of Financial Statements audits for different industries (such as Banking, Services, Trading and contracting), in addition, to communication of business issues to client’s management. The tasks, approach and techniques included: •Planning, Risk Assessment, Administration and Review •Identification of Significant Accounting Issues. •Evaluation of Clients’ internal control systems. •Management Reports and Recommendations. •Analytical Reviews and Ratio Analysis of Financial Statements Accounts. •Preparation of annual Financial Statements. •Concentrated on Understanding the business of clients, walkthrough procedures for the business processes, overall analytical review for the profit & loss statement, balance sheet statement and cash flow statement, test of controls, cash & bank variance analysis and existence testing, sales & cost of sales analysis, expenses analytical review, creditors and debtors’ verification & analysis, end of service benefit testing, property plant & equipment analysis and depreciation analytical review. SOX: Implement substantive overview on the business cycles, which are Revenue, Expenditure, Inventory and Financial Reporting cycles of the entity. And understand and analyze the four cycle’s narratives, risks, control matrix and segregation of duties. Next apply walk troughs’ for the four business cycles, and perform testing for all the critical aspects of the cycles in order to detect any significant deficiency, control deficiency or material weakness.
