Key Responsibilities: - Managing the bi-annual publication 'The Museum Magazine' from idea conception, to print and distribution - Managing the bi-annual digital publication 'reCollections: A journal of Museums and Collections' from gathering submissions to online publication - Coordinating written contributions from national and international academics and professionals - Managing membership databases - Working with external contractors throughout the publication process including; editors, graphic designers and copyright holders - Working with an Executive board, providing reports and analysis of publications and membership data. In this position, I provided welcoming, engaging and memorable customer service to the diverse audiences that visited the National Museum of Australia. Key Responsibilities: - Providing outstanding customer service to diverse audiences including; national and international visitors, families, school groups and people with disabilities - Writing, developing and taking tours of the Museum, including VIP tours for Government bodies and tourism agencies - Working with children, school groups and teachers - Training new staff members - Point of sales.
