For the first project, I have investigated the use of computational geometry to extract rooms from a floor plan image whom walls have been detected. The principle was to model the room extraction problem as a nearly convex decomposition of a scene. For the second one, the aim was to encode into C++ an existing prototype coded in python in the context of the analysis of incoming mails. I had to analyse the previsous system and propose patches/extensions to this work.
