In contrast, I received highly instructive ojt as a lab tech by chemical engineers immediately after graduation from high school. This internship has imprinted a lifelong focus on practical and innovative problem solving and innovation that bore immediate fruits in novel methods in organic syntheses of several simple missing link compounds in 2 published first author theses, BS and MS. And it also proved valuable in my industrial career spanning 50 years as a creative out of the box scientist at 3 billion health care corporations resulting in over 50 patents and publications including recognition by corporate management and peers. I am currently an independent Biotech Consultant interested in sharing my diverse knowhow in chemical, biochemical and biomedical arenas."
