Before joining Energinet Henrik worked for a Danish DSO and contractor as a relay and HVDC engineer, with responsibility for integrating modern digital relays and with O&M for the KONTEK HVDC interconnection between Denmark and Germany. Henrik Joint Energinet in 2007 where he worked as a specialist and team leader for HVDC and cables, and from 2011 until 2018 Henrik worked as an operational manager for electrical safety, where he was dedicated to improving the company Safety quality management system and work within a national taskforce to integrate European elec-trical safety standards. During this year’s Henrik was also involved in a joint project with NKT cables to develop a combined monitoring solution with Automatic vessel Identification system (AIS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), leading to national and international patents. Internationally Henrik worked as WG member of B1.52 with focus on fault locating one land and offshore cables and are currently active within the European TSO SPCGS group for installing and operating cable systems. Henrik also participated in papers about DAS/DTS monitoring of burial of depth and optical Cable joint monitoring, to the Cigre 2018 and Jicable 2019 conferences. Currently Henrik works with many disciplines of O&M and digitalization within the Energinet Asset management and transmission departments and with main interest in • Analyses and condition assessment for cable systems and AC components, bringing new condition assessment methods into use. • Member of the Transmission department Digitalization group with responsibility to define and advice the management in digital aspects with respect to, Digital management, processes, asset and using data. • Implementing and testing Machine learning for oil leak detection on Danish flat type oil cables installed in the Copenhagen array. • Exploring and implementation of opensource Digitization in the Asset depart-ments through Python API development with goal to access and centralize data from subsystems, SCADA, and asset management system etc. • Appling online and offline DTS and DAS systems to monitor cables for faults, third party intrusion and condition monitoring. • Developing vessel monitoring solution for export cables and interconnectors to minimize risk of anchor and fishing activities.
