I’m specialized in the Service Layer area with main focus on Intelligent Networks (IN), SS7, Messaging and IP. Before joining Ericsson in september 2005, I have worked for several international telecommunications companies worldwide with marks in Europe and the Middle-East. My main area of interest during this period was in SMS & MESSAGING. I describe myself as pretty all-rounded, flexible, knowledge- and performance- driven. Able to work on my own initiative and deliver under pressure. My strongest point is that I’m knowledgeable on both Telecom and IT. I combine the best of both these two worlds. For my personal development I find it important to be able to work in a modern, high-tech environment. Further, I sincerely believe that in the modern-day complex working environments progress can only be achieved through good teamwork. I have worked on LogicaCMG HighPerformance OpenVMS and Telepath SMSCs, the NMS MyCaller RingBackTone Servers and numerous Ericsson TSP based IN products like VPN and SNA. In 2011 I moved on to the Ericsson Composition Engine ( ECE) the Next Generation Application Platform. The main constituents of this platform are a Distributed Linux OS with an OCCAS Application Server and a MySQL database. On this platform applications for telephony, SIP, and HTTP(S) can be deployed. The platform is created and maintained in China, the applications are made in India and The Netherlands. Since 2015 working on the Non Sim Device Solution ( NSDS ) of Ericsson for TMO USA and EE UK.
