When it comes to sports, it's even worse: only 6% of research focuses on women. As an athlete and data scientist, I tried to understand my body through my data: is there any difference between me and men? Is there any advantage of being a woman? Does my menstrual cycle impact what my body needs? This is why I created Wild.AI. With Dr. Stacy Sims, the world reference in the field, we took 451 white papers, some of hers, some of other researchers, analysed those, cross-correlated what science said for each phase of the cycle. Then turned that into algorithms, and created the most powerful app, turning data into female data. The way it works: we take data from wearables and daily manual input, aggregate those 2 to give us a female readiness score. Based on the score, we recommend personalised and adaptive training and nutrition recommendations. We now also serve women who use birth control (148 of those), are in perimenopause or menopause. Our ambition is to serve women of all ages, life stages, and ethnicity. Coaches can train themselves and get female-specialist certified with our coach academy, and apply the same learnings through the coach dashboard. We help women. And we help coaches.
