Helen Whitelaw is a Graduated with First Class Honours in French and Digital Media & Information Studies from University of Glasgow in 2013, graduated from a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at University of Glasgow in 2014 to teach French to Secondary students in Scottish schools, completed my Probationer Teacher Year with North Ayrshire Council in 2015 and continued there on a temporary basis for six months before joining North Lanarkshire Council on a full-time, permanent basis in January 2016. Teaching at Secondary School, S1 to S6, Modern Languages through Broad General Education to Higher. Graduated in November 2017 from a Masters in Education - Professional Studies (Growth Mindset) with University of Glasgow. Completed in June 2019 a 3-Year Certificate of Continuing Education in Spanish at University of Strathclyde in order to gain a teaching qualification for teaching Spanish language and Culture. I spent 3 weeks in Malaga in 2018 on an immersive Spanish course which was extremely beneficial and am undertaking training in and championing Developing the Young Workforce for my school.
