The company is still operating with family in Victoria. We were fortunate to time our retirement just prior to the covid pandemic hitting, and were able to get away in our caravan and head north through NSW to Queensland. We spent six wonderful months travelling and fell in love with the people, places, climate and lifestyle that Queensland offered. Our return to Victoria was brief. Within a month, we had purchased a new home at Twin Waters -over the internet - and begun the process of moving our life back north. In March 2021, we settled into our lovely home and opened the door to an exciting new chapter in our lives. Having had such a wonderful experience of Queensland during our travel months, we decided it would be fun to share this with others and so Paradise Home Stay was born. Paradise Home Stay offers the traveller or holidaymaker the opportunity to stay within a home environment but remain fully self-contained. It is the perfect getaway, whether you are on business, just passing through or looking to unwind on that true holiday. Based in a safe, home environment, our studio apartment provides an independent, private space, with kitchen and laundry self-catering amenities, free WiFi, smart TV, free Netflix, off-street parking, access to a pool, and beaches just 5 mins away. And if you want to sightsee, golf, cycle or revel in shopping or craft, this is the place to be. It really is paradise, as you’ll discover!
