A study of long haul, New Zealand distance grandparents and inter-generational transnational familying'. This has led to my current project: a three-book series regarding global distance familying. I published the first book, 'Being a Distance Grandparent - a Book for ALL Generations' in 2021 and 'Being a Distance Son or Daughter' in 2022. Look out for 'Being a Distance Grandchild' in 2024. My journey has delivered me a unique understanding of #DistanceFamilies and I feel passionate that by sharing our inter-generational experiences we will each grow in our understanding and most importantly, empathy, of each other's worlds.
