I am an engaged and passionate team player, motivated by stretching towards hairy goals and triggered by rethinking «the way things are». I have broad experience working in different sectors of the construction industry, and like to work both operationally and strategically. After having spent 5 years in the RETAIL part of the construction sector I have come to love the pulse of digitalization, supplychain, recycling, re-use, reduction of plastics, smart logistics, optimization of packaging, smart return solutions, products as service, product documentation and certifications etc. Over the years I have contributed to the development of both tools and educational programs. I have been part of the development of the environmental assessment method BREEAM in Norway since the start in 2011/2012, both as Assessor, AP (Accredited Professional) and member of the «Strategic Board» for the 2022 manual. Lately I was on the advisory board for a new course at Fagskolen i Oslo called «Fremtidsbygg - sirkulærøkonomi, teknologi og entreprenørskap (Buildings of the Future)». My special passion is the use of digitalization as a tool to achieve more efficient and sustainable solutions. I started my career in the construction business in 1998, working with what is often called building biology (dry rot, mould and insects damages). Then followed some years working as a building physicist alongside being part of the evolvement of sustainability consultancy as a new focus area in the construction business in Norway. Now my focus is a holistic approach towards circular solutions and sustainable thinking in all phases of a project’s life, and I strongly believe in involvement of the whole supply chain to find the best solutions.
