During his tenure as Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission, three transformative changes to the real estate industry were initiated and implemented: mandatory continuing education for all real estate practitioners, seller property disclosure and designated agency/dual agency relationships. He also presided over the formation of the Pennsylvania State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers. A graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, and the real estate curriculum at the Wharton School, he is an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at Temple University Real Estate Institute and previously taught at Immaculata College and Community College of Philadelphia. He is a member and Past President of the Philadelphia Chapter of Lambda Alpha Honorary Land Economics Society.
