As a thorough finance and accounting professional, hardwork has always been a core value right through the days of my education to each day that goes by. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in early 2007, my post qualification tenure with KPMG Mumbai from March 2007 to November 2010 was indeed a gateway to the journey from freshly qualified to professional. The journey was definitely eventful at all times, with quite a few ups and down, which only helped me grow from strength to strength. My personality trait being more inclined towards that of an introvert, these 3 and a half years unlocked my confidence and professional acumen. My prior work experiences during my 3 years of apprenticeship and couple of accounting and financial reporting jobs over a 2 year period thereafter, laid the foundation to a focused career path. Post November 2010, was a step outside my comfort zone, into a new multicultural region with a new set of challenges, both professional and personal. An opportunity with PWC Dubai, marked my move from Mumbai, India to Dubai, UAE. The next 4 and a half years enriched my knowledge, skills and experience, into a seasoned professional. The near 8 years of valued experience with two of the leading firms, paved my path of transition from the firm to the industry. My current position since then has been both productive and satisfying, also both professionally and personally.
