Hannah Illingworth Email & Phone Number | Hannah (she/ her) is a multi faceted event producer, program coordinator and facilitator who works closely with the community. With a background spanning 10 years, she has acted in leadership positions with local art communities and within coordinator roles across an array of artforms, services and venues. Beginning her career in Mount Isa, Queensland as a custom shoe illustrator and event support person she has always been passionate about self expression and healing through creativity. After living in NSW for around 2 years, first in Sydney, then in a rainbow van and later Broken Hill she was able to explore identity and art in a whole new way. After falling into an unhealthy relationship she moved back to Darwin and was then able to begin to really begin exploring an interest for leadership in the creative industry. Using her platform she finds it instrumental to speak out against in-justice and to present others with the opportunity to do so. Her key focus in the last five years has been on the creative community within the Northern Territory, working on festivals and projects in Darwin consistently. A lot of this work has been centered around LAUNCH Darwin and the Darwin Fringe Festival. She also works as a street art, mural and skateboarding facilitator with youth services and the Darwin Skate School. After struggling to deal with drug addiction and mental health concerns for many years Hannah has used volunteering and a strong ‘getting it done’ attitude to grow her skill set and gain new responsibilities. Hannah’s current work interests include community development, task management, prioritization, information storage, public resources and communication strategy. In her future she hopes to still be working with the community either through other organisations or her own production company.
