Hannah Demoss Mph Email & Phone Number | I currently serve as the Family Support Coordinator at Boston Medical Center’s Violence Intervention and Advocacy Program (VIAP). In this role, I meet with families to provide immediate emotional support and assistance in hospital navigation in the aftermath of community violence and homicide. Additionally, I support families in the achievement of long term goals like safe housing, economic mobility, and emotional wellness. Previous to this role, my work was focused on refining hospital system's approach to trauma-informed care through facilitating trainings with hospital staff and medical students. I am also a birth and death doula with a special interest in creating a space that promotes healing, embodiment, peace and autonomy for survivors of trauma and violence. My motivation for this work is to promote equity and anti-racist systems change on interpersonal, organizational, and policy levels to revolutionize paths for healing for survivors and victims of violence.
