Hannah Blitzer is a I am an experienced environmental legal and policy expert, with a passion for delivering advocacy, campaigns and public affairs across the public sector, private organisations and civil society to protect nature and combat climate change for people and planet. I have 5+ years of experience working in UK, US and international environmental, climate and social justice organisations. My PhD (awarded 2023) focused on UK environmental law, justice and the right to a healthy environment. My focus is on delivering strategic legal and policy advocacy, impactful research/analysis, and project management to build relationships with Government and politicians, influence complex public policy problems and advise stakeholders across my areas of specialist expertise: UK and international environmental law/policy; fossil fuel phase out and just transitions; the right to a healthy environment; agriculture and food systems; and climate justice. I also offer expertise in NGO/non-profit governance, leading cross-functional teams, and knowledge translation and dissemination. I regularly consult, present at conferences, write research articles and blog posts, and undertake media engagements and events for government, private sector and civil society networks on my areas of expertise.
