In my PhD study, I was doing my PhD research work on mathematical and computer modeling of extracellular vesicle-mediated bio-nano communication for medical applications with a focus on heart as a case study. My PhD research work was done with the Intervention Centre at Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway. During my academic journey from September 2022 to March 2023, I was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Quantitative Health Science and Engineering (IQ) at Michigan State University, MI, USA. While there, I collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects focused on developing computer modeling and simulations and conducting in-vitro experiments with extracellular vesicles for improving cardiovascular disease treatments. In September 2023, I started my postdoctoral research at the Department of Rheumatology, Dermatology and Infectious Diseases at Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway, in collaboration with the NORMENT Center of Excellence at the University of Oslo. My postdoc research is about studying juvenile idiopathic arthritis by using biostatistics and bioinformatics tools, machine learning approaches and conducting polygenic risk scores (PRS) from genome-wide association studies (GWAS). My research interests primarily revolve around biostatistics, bioinformatics, computer simulations, mathematical modeling, and the design and analysis of molecular communication-based nano-networks for biomedical applications. I am passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes.
