I'm committed to making sure that our students reach their goals, in the classroom and beyond. While attending LSU’s Master of Public Administration program during 2014, a classmate encouraged me to pursue a position with LSU Enrollment Management as a financial aid counselor. Once I began working with college students, I knew it would be my career field. I continued to work for LSU for over 5 years, concluding with a role as a Manager with Auxiliary Services. As a first-generation college student, I’ve taken a strong interest in student affairs and finding ways to help students achieve their goals. I thrive on being able to offer support to students, no matter if their concerns stem from academic, financial, mental-health or other areas. I enjoy being able to help students from the day they arrive on campus and throughout their time as a student. I appreciate opportunities to connect with students in whatever capacity I am able to do so, whether it is at orientation, at an event or in a conduct meeting. I also enjoyed teaching two courses, SEM 100 (a diversity, equity and inclusion seminar for first-year students) and PST 121 (a leadership seminar), at Syracuse during the fall 2020 semester, and UNIV-1001 (Freshman Seminar) at ECU during the fall 2021 semester.
