I love problem solving and coming up with random inventions. As I saw my parents devote their lives to helping others in medicine I knew I wanted to improve the lives of those around me too. I knew I could through my creativity and love for innovation which is when I decided I wanted to go into engineering. 💡After coming to Northeastern I started joining clubs around innovation. Since my freshman year I have been working as a build studio engineer in Generate which is Northeastern’s product development studio which has been an amazing opportunity for me to work on start-up products for real clients. I have been able to see projects I have worked on get patented and learned so much in the process. 📚 I am also very passionate about learning new things. I have learned so much from those around me and my projects that I now strive to help others find a love for learning and technology. In high school I started the girls who code chapter at my school. In college I have acted as a mentor by leading projects and teaching others technical skills. I also volunteered in the organization Peace Through Play to teach elementary students social and emotional skills through play. ✈️For fun I love getting minorly lost. What I mean by getting lost is discovering all these amazing new places I would have otherwise not known existed. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling so I can gain new experiences and perspectives.
