I started as a general laborer and quickly worked my way up to team leader over the first two years. I maintained that position for the next three years holding myself responsible for 15 to 17 other employees over that time frame. Being a relatively small company I was in charge of my own quality and maintained a less than 1% warranty claim rate over the next three years. Over the last year I have been doing what Challenger calls install audits. This position involves daily face to face discussion with purchasing agents, plant managers, quality managers and many more. Every day my position includes everything from customer service to quality management. I really enjoy my job and like what i do so i'm not 100% looking for another one. Its like i've always told the people who worked for me do what you believe is best for you and your family and take responsibility for that decision.
