Gwendolyn Lewis Huddleston Email & Phone Number | My career in education is extensive. I have led the creation and launch of college institutions, and a nation wide Distance Education University. Currently a leader in many education aspects. My most recent career has been with Ventura County Community College District. I originally held a position at Oxnard College as Dean of Liberal Studies, which oversaw, Letters, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Arts, Music, Basic Skills Grant, Learning Resource Center , Distance Education, and leadership roles in Program Review, and Budget Planning Resources. Followed by a position as Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Humanities, Distance Education, Professional Development, and Project Director of a Title V Grant. Prior to my time with VCCCD I spent nine years in progressively responsible positions after being a faculty member teaching art. My management began in, technology, and distance education management to dean of departments in San Francisco, to Vice President of Academic and Student Services Affairs over a start-up art college in Los Angeles. In five years as the Chief Academic Officer/VP at Art Institute Hollywood I led the launching and development of nine associate degree programs and eleven bachelor degree programs. Additionally, I am a visual artist. I paint, and sculpt. I dabble in poetry and creative writing as a foundation for illuminating the creative within me.
