Over a 6-year period, Gulzat modeled multiphase flow in more than ~500 oil/gas wells and transportation systems within the Caspian region (KZ, UZ, AZ), successfully implemented project of a real-time leak detection systems for 50-km trunkline, for which she was nominated for a prestigious SLB Bronze Award. Gulzat wanted to dive deeper into consulting and analytics, and in 2019 joined BCG by winning the “BCG destination”. During this consultancy experience Gulzat developed fuel usage strategy for giant capital O&G project, and operational improvement initiatives for wells workover program in the Northern Pole. In 2020, Gulzat started exploring the possibility of merging engineering, real world data analytics, and technology to solve production inefficiency problems worldwide. She joined Kazzinc, Kazakhstan's largest producer of zinc, lead and precious metals, as a Head of Business Analytics. During the pandemic, Gulzat led teams to digitize more than 50 production reports, contributed to increase of PS converter campaign duration and achieved record-breaking results since 2018, initiated the first Data Science project to optimize metal recovery through reagent optimisation, identified KPI's to improve performance of Isasmelt Furnace Lance. In 2023, Gulzat was selected by top executive committee for Glencore Global Leadership program. Currently she is focused on operational excellence and digital transformation via Power Platform, Sharepoint & Teams. She is a First Class Hons UK graduate, Bolashak scholar, co-author of professional publications, SLB Bronze, McKinsey NGWL, Physics olympiad & Golden medal (Altyn belgi) fellow.
